How to request a repeat prescription
Regular medications that have been agreed by your doctor can be requested in several ways without seeing a GP by using the white printed list given to you with each prescription:
- In person: just leave your request form in the box provided at reception or drop it through the letter box if the practice is closed
- By post
- By Fax (0113 2953650)
- Order online (registration required) by clicking here
For safety reasons we cannot accept telephone requests.
In each case please give us 24 hours (working day) notice to process your request.
You can collect your new prescription:
- in person
- ask for it to be sent to your local pharmacist,
- or if you leave us a stamped-addressed envelope we will return it by post.
Annual Medication Reviews
All patients on repeat prescriptions are requested to have a medication review by their GP at least once a year to ensure your safety and the best use of available treatments. If this review is overdue we reserve the right to delay further prescriptions until you have seen a GP.
